The expansion of the Chemical Wharf means increasing its surface area from 18 to 36 hectares, increasing the storage capacity from 2.5 million tons to 8 million. The wharf extension will create new spaces for docking ships, thereby enhancing liquid bulk traffic in the port of Tarragona. The depth of the wharf will also be increased to 16.5 m, allowing larger vessels to operate in it.
