The Edificio Hydros, of 112 dwellings, in Avda. Ranillas, Zaragoza (Spain), a work by Basilio Tobías, carried out by EASA, has been first equal winner of the 30th “Ricardo Magdalena” Trophy for Architecture, granted by the Institución Fernando el Católico, for the way in which the project fits in with the city, the river and its residential use. This trophy is intended to distinguish not only the architectural values intrinsic to the buildings, but also an adequate proportion between the means used and the results attained. The trophy also wishes to reward the appositeness of the use of these buildings, in a field open to any public or private initiative.
