Work on the HST line between Galicia and Madrid has completed another stage today. Drilling of the left track tunnel at A Canda, on the border between Ourense and Zamora and which is one of the most complex sections of the entire route, has been finished with a total length of 7.3 kilometres. Construction of the tunnel at A Canda, between the municipalities of A Mezquita and Luján, was awarded in August 2012. The sections that have been completed were handled by a temporary business association made up of Copisa, Copasa, Sercoysa and Construcciones Obras y Viales.
