Copisa, a construction company in Grupo Copisa, has been awarded the contract to upgrade a 33 km long road connecting the towns of Bumbesti Jiu and Petrosani together with the refurbishment of a bridge, building another six new ones and a range of drainage works in Romania. The project, whose total cost comes to €35 million, has been commissioned by the Romanian National Company of Motorways and National Roads under the Ministry of Transport and is to be carried out as a leader of the joint venture set up with other local construction firms in the country.
