Copisa consolidates its presence in the romanian market

Copisa has been awarded the construction of the new bypass on the DN66 national road on the stretch between the towns of Stei and Beius in the region of Bihor. The project, sponsored by the Compania Nationala de Autostrazi si Drumuri Nationale din Romanía, SA (CNADNR), of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, is budgeted at RON 257,413,147.52, of which 69.25% will be provided by the European Regional Development Fund and 30.75% by the Romanian Government.

Copisa lands the construction of the Targu Mures bypass. Romania

Building a bypass connecting the DN13 and DN15 roads which is to go around the city of Targu Mures. This largely industrial city is located in the valley of the Mures River in the heart of Transylvania. The project has a completion time of 24 months and a contract sum of 134,798,974.31 RON, which is about €31 million. 69.25% of this budget will come from the European Regional Development Fund and 30.75% by the Romanian government.

Award of a maintenance and upkeep contract for 24 buildings belonging to Barcelona City Council’s Institute of Culture, Spain

A maintenance and upkeep contract for 24 buildings belonging to Barcelona City Council’s Institute of Culture has been awarded to the temporary business association UTE CPI Copisa Industrial – Natur System. The buildings include Palau de Pedralbes, the Barcelona Museum of History, Palau de la Virreina and the Teatre Grec open-air theatre and are in addition to maintenance of El Born Centre Cultural which has been carried out since 2013.

Copisa lands the construction of a water treatment plant in Peru for €15.7 million

Copisa has been awarded the construction of the new treatment plant and water and drainage system in the town of La Joya in the region of Arequipa (Peru). The works represent an investment of €15.7 million and will take around 16 months to complete. The project has been commissioned by the Regional Government of Arequipa and is to be carried out with two local partners.

Copisa lands the contract for extension work on an irrigation canal in Costa Rica coming to $13.82 million

The contract is to extend South Canal-Primary Network in the province of Guanacaste in Costa Rica, a project funded by the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI). Specifically Copisa is to build a main canal measuring 33.4 kilometres in length, along which various hydraulic structures such as dams, bridges, culverts, traps and outlets are to be built. The extension will make it possible to switch from the current system of rain-fed agriculture to irrigated agriculture over an area of 8,806 hectares.

The Government of Aragon awards the contract to upgrade the A-125 Tudela to Ayerbe road (Spain) to the Copisa-Ceinsa temporary business association

The Government of Aragon has awarded the Copisa-Ceinsa temporary business association the contract to upgrade the stretch of the A-125 road running between Tudela and Ayerbe, from the border with the province of Navarre to Ejea de los Caballeros. The work to be carried out consists of comprehensive upgrading between kilometres 18.5 and 20.5 together with structural resurfacing between kilometres 25 to 38 which in general involves strengthening the roadway across the width of the existing carriageway. The total cost of the project comes to €3,101,016.96.

Copisa lands contract for work to widen the toll-free motorway between the towns of Taza and Alhucemas in Morocco

Copisa has been awarded the contract to widen a 24.6 km stretch of the toll-free motorway linking the towns of Taza and Alhucemas in Morocco. The work commissioned by the Direction Provincial de l’Equipement et Transport in Taza will be carried out in a temporary business association with a local construction company in the country and will mean an investment of €22 million.
