CPI Copisa Industrial is awarded the works to improve the state of conservation inside the 8000 units that run along the line 8 of METRO DE MADRID (Madrid Subway System).
The Municipal Sports Center of la Ciudadela (BATLLE I ROIG Arquitectes), executed by Copisa, has been awarded the IAKS Gold Metal 2015, prize given by the International Association for Sport and Leisure Facilities to the most important sports buildings of the period 2013-2015.
CPI Copisa Industrial is awarded the service of maintenance and conservation of the stations of the Subway System of Madrid, lot 4, consisting of the lines 3 and 8 of METRO DE MADRID.
The work includes the extension of the road to four lanes, two for each direction, with their corresponding shoulders and other auxiliary elements, which allows to increase the capacity of this section of the National Road n. 3. Twinning the road involves necessarily demolishing the existing bridge and constructing a new one for crossing the River Virilla. The bridge will measure 19.92 m wide.
The aim of this work is to convert the old building of the paper factory Can Fábregas into the 2 line school Angeleta Ferrer, and to construct a new building at the South-East side of the plot, which will house the gym and the dressing rooms. The works consist of the following activities: rehabilitation of the Plant, new construction and urbanization.
The works of construction of a Secondary School in La Puebla de Alfindén have started. The duration of the works is estimated at 20 months; the first phase is planned to come into operation during the course 2015/2016. The work has been awarded to the Joint Venture Copisa-EASA, and amount €5,994,603.73.
The hydroelectrical power station ”Torito”, built by Copisa for Gas Natural Fenosa, has been inaugurated. The President of Costa Rica, Mr. Luis Guillermo Solís, and the President of Gas Natural Fenosa, Mr. Salvador Gabarró, has attended the opening ceremony. The station has an installed capacity of 50 MW.
The Hydrographical Confederation of the River Ebro has awarded Copisa the project of works of the general hydraulic infrastructure in the irrigation area of the new Civán Channel or Caspe Channel in Zaragoza, the works amount €1,942,039. The project includes the works related to the Confederation within the Co-ordinated project Plan for developing the river Guadalope and for the irrigation area of the new Civán Channel.
The works of extension of the road N-260 as it passes through Gerri de la Sal have started this week. The amount of the works awarded by the Ministry of Public Works is 2.14 million euros. The duration of the works is estimated at one year.
A new iron ore enrichment facility built by Copisa is inaugurated in Zouérate -Mauritania-. The project, known as Guelb II, has amounted more than 150 million euros, the largest contract awarded by a Spanish company in this country. The President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Mr. Mohamed Uld Abdel Aziz, has attended the opening ceremony.
