06 Feb Remodelling of Jerez Auction Market (Spain) due for Completion in Three Months

The regional government’s Minister for Tourism, Trade and Sport, Sergio Moreno, and the Mayoress of Jerez, Pilar Sanchez, have visited the global remodelling works on the city’s late 19th century Central Auction Market to follow the progress in situ. During the visit, Sergio Moreno was able to verify the good pace of the works and the condition of the site following the demolition of the side walls of the fish hall to improve accessibility. He was also able to see the prefabricated steel “show stall” that exemplifies the stalls which the fish sellers will be using once the works have been completed.
